Katja is a European patent attorney and is heading a team specializing in food, agriculture and chemistry. She has technical experience within chemistry, biochemistry, food science, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.
Especially, Katja has extensive knowledge of patenting food ingredients and food technology. She has worked with IP since 2000 and is an experienced advisor within patent strategies, identification and exploitation of patentable technologies and freedom-to operate analyses.
Further, Katja has experience in developing and using IPR-analyses as a tool for commercialization of IP.
Katja works with commercialization of IP belonging to companies as well as universities. Katja also has special expertise in performing searches in patent and scientific databases.
