Pernille has technical expertise within the areas of pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biology and health care.
She has vast experience within the field of ion transport processes in the heart and brain and especially with examining the connection between inherited arrhythmias, cardiac potassium ion channel function and biophysical characterization of pharmacologically modulated ion channels in the heart and brain.
Pernille has held different research and development positions in the pharmaceutical industry, and has e.g. worked with preclinical development of in vivo and in vitro central nervous system and cardiac methods and in vivo and in vitro migraine models.
