Jeannette has technical expertise within the areas of chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology and cellular biology. In addition, she has IP expertise in the field of food and food technology as well as border areas between the life science/medical field and the mechanical field.
Jeannette is experienced in a broad range of IP activities such as patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses (FTO), patent surveillances, drafting and prosecution of patent applications and utility models, infringement and validity opinions, oppositions and IP strategy.
She is the author or co-author of multiple research papers in reviewed international journals relating to stem cells, aging, implants, bone forming cells and fat cells in the areas of endocrinology and orthopedics.
Jeannette has successfully completed the CEIPI Course on Patent Litigation in Europe at the University of Strasbourg, and she will therefore receive the European Patent Litigation Certificate under the Unified Patent Court when it enters into force.
She has worked with IP since 2007 both as a patent attorney in private practice as well as an in-house patent manager in a large international company.
